The clutch slave cylinder is a critical component of your Thar's hydraulic clutch system. The clutch actuation is hydraulic – the clutch pedal actuates a master cylinder, and hydraulic fluid is transmitted to the slave cylinder through Bundy tubes . The slave cylinder then actuates a fork, which is pivoted on a ball pivot, moving the release bearing to disengage the clutch from the engine, enabling smooth gear changes.
